Saint Stanislaus Kostka School accepts students of any race, religion, national or ethnic origin. Currently, two hundred fifty students comprise a pre-kindergarten through eighth grade enrollment with twenty-two students in both pre-kindergarten and kindergarten and an average of twenty-six students in grades one through eight. The average total school enrollment has remained steady at 250 students during the past five years. Approximately eighty three percent (83%) of our past eighth grade graduates have attended Saint Stanislaus School since pre-kindergarten or kindergarten; however, sixty-one percent (61%) of our current eighth grade began their education at Saint Stanislaus as kindergarten or pre-kindergarten students. This percentage is lower than usual because of an increase of transfers into the school when a neighboring Catholic school closed in June 2005. Students enrolled fall into the average range of ability. All students are screened before enrolling to identify special needs and to be certain that our program, coupled with available outside support services, would adequately serve their needs. Upper grade students whose abilities are above average are challenged through the math enrichment courses. Students with abilities that fall below average are supported with Title I services, after school and peer tutoring, and with services offered through Committee on Special Education of the District.
